To be the most authentic version of You is no easy feat. Especially when we don’t even know who we are. We get easily swept away in who we think we should be instead of focusing on Who We Are. Especially with a barrage of social media content that set standards of “success” and “happiness” that we could never seem to reach.
Happiness, success and living authentically looks different for us all. And it’s difficult to find the right combination of factors that fit. Yet, self-discovery is an inevitable journey we must all take. Our experiences shape who we are and guide us to discover our unique version of happiness and success.
There are many versions of me that exist with the minds of everyone I’ve ever known. And who I am will never align with these numerous versions. The only version we need to aspire to is our idealized version of ourselves.
I am many things to many people- I am an empathetic person and a good listener. I can also be insecure and as a result, take things too personally. I am intelligent and adaptable. I can also be absentminded because I take on too many things at the same time. I’m all of these things. Some good, some bad. Some things I can change and some I cannot change. Yet none of these things are truly who I am. These are simply parts of me that have guided me to embrace my true self.
I am a writer with a passion for travelling. And I’ve always known I wanted to write pieces that make others feel; To connect, encourage and leave a positive impact on the world.
The Phoenix has always been a significant symbol in my life. How could it not? Signifying rising from the ashes, rebirth and transformation, the Phoenix is rooted in myth and fantasy. It’s a powerful symbol that reminds me that transformation has to come from within. I have been transforming into the ideal version of me that is in Bloom. That grows, aspires and improves to bloom again.
Lit. I’m very proud of this miniscule addition. With one little word, I was able to craft a name that represents my purpose. Lit has multiple meanings. First, it is an abbreviation for literature. On another level, it can also mean light. In the sense that I want to illuminate the way of others.
Welcome to Phoenix Bloom Lit. Light and Literature. My way to inspire You to live authentically and be true to yourself through my stories and pieces.
My goal is to build a platform and become a writer that creates stories that inspire while I aspire to be all I can be while nurturing that same spirit in others.
